About VHM Tex India

Weaving a Legacy of Quality and Trust Since 2017

Our Journey

Anyone in textiles knows Ichalkaranji. It’s a hub of immense volume, a place where the focus is often on quantity. We saw things differently. We believed the true soul of the fabric—its quality—was being left behind in the race for numbers. This is why we started VHM Tex India in 2017. Our goal wasn’t to be just another process house, but to be an answer to that gap.

We then made a choice that surprises some. We officially founded the company in 2017 but didn't process our first meter of fabric until 2023. Those six years weren't a delay; they were our foundation. We spent that time on the ground, studying what the market truly needed and building our quality control systems from scratch. We weren't just setting up a facility; we were building a new standard of excellence, and we wouldn’t rush it.

A core part of this standard was our location. We chose a site 25km from the main hub for one critical reason: access to fresh river water. In our industry, water is everything. It’s like the cooking oil for a master chef—without the best oil, even a great chef can't create a masterpiece. We live by that rule.

VHM Tex India Facility

That’s why, unlike others, we don’t reuse our process water. Every batch of fabric is treated with a fresh, pure supply to ensure the color and feel are perfect, with no compromises. When we’re done, all the water is treated in our advanced facility and made safe for local agriculture. It’s a simple, non-negotiable part of our promise: deliver top-notch quality, every time.

When our first meter finally rolled out in 2023, it represented the start of that promise being fulfilled. Our journey has been a patient one, built on the simple belief that quality isn't just one thing—it's everything done right.

Meet Our Leadership

Mahaveerchand Jain

Founder & Chairman

I have built my life on a simple premise, learned from the farm I grew up on: you cannot cheat the soil and expect a good harvest. After fifty years in textiles, I saw an industry that was trying to do just that—trading the soul of the fabric for speed and volume. I couldn't accept it. I founded VHM to be a place where quality is an act of respect—for the material, the people who craft it, and the customer who will use it. To me, success is meaningless if it doesn’t lift up the community you are a part of. That is why my work has led me back to agriculture, where our plantations are helping to build a self-reliant farming community. This is my life's work, in the factory and on the farm: to leave things better and stronger than I found them.

Vinodkumar Jain

Chief Executive Officer

My father built this company on a philosophy. My job is to make that philosophy a reality on the factory floor, every single day. For me, it all comes down to precision. I see the entire operation, from a single gear in a machine to the final delivery schedule, as a series of points that must connect perfectly. My degree is in Commerce, but I’ve spent my life learning from the machines and the people who run them. A factory's energy comes from its team, and I work to create an environment where everyone is empowered to do their best work. When we operate this way—efficiently and with a shared goal—we naturally create growth not just for the company, but for our employees and the entire community. At the end of the day, my commitment is simple: we deliver exactly what we promise.

Sheetal Jain

Managing Director

My greatest passion has always been to find that spark of potential in people and help build it into a fire. This is the energy that drives my leadership every day—to pursue growth for our company so we can create more opportunities for our community. This belief is the very cornerstone of our company. While some may be surprised that our board of directors is composed entirely of women, I see it as the natural outcome of our philosophy: to empower the most passionate and capable leaders. And so, my message is simple and from the heart. Look at what we have built. We are living proof that your potential is what truly matters. We hope our story inspires you to go and build your own incredible future
